We’re proud to be part of Pontefract Academies Trust, which was recognised with the Trust Value Award for Excellence in the 2025 Edurio Awards – placing us among the top 10 performing trusts nationally, based on staff feedback.
Edurio is a national education survey platform used by over 1,300 schools across the UK. They help organisations to gather honest, anonymous feedback, providing insights into everything from culture and wellbeing to leadership and pupil behaviour.
Pontefract Academies Trust achieved fantastic results in the survey, with 85% of staff across the Trust saying they would recommend it as a good place to work.
Trust Benefit School Award – De Lacy Primary School
At De Lacy, we are proud to have won a regional award for the Trust Benefit School Award. This award recognises the school in each region whose community is most confident that being part of their Trust is beneficial, recognising excellence at the school level.
Our own survey results were very encouraging and provided valuable insights for us to build on. We’re proud of our continued commitment to the wellbeing and success of both pupils and staff.
What This Means for Us
These awards celebrate our commitment to creating a positive, values-led culture for our staff, pupils, and wider community. They reaffirm that our values aren’t just words, they are principles that guide us in everything we do. Of course, there is always more work to do, but overall we are pleased with the progress the Trust has made.
