A huge congratulations to the incredible pupils across our primary schools on their exceptional SATs, Phonics, and Early Years results. We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved, and grateful to the dedicated staff and families who have supported them every step of the way.
Key Stage 2 (KS2)
We are proud to share that 86% of our Year 6 pupils met the expected standard in reading, writing, and maths – 24% above the national average of 62%.
Four of our seven primary schools achieved over 85% in the combined standard:
· Larks Hill Junior and Infant School – 97%
· Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School – 93%
· Orchard Head Junior, Infant and Nursery School – 89%
· Carleton Park Junior and Infant School – 87%
Notably, Larks Hill achieved a perfect 100% pass rate in reading – a remarkable achievement.
Our commitment to closing the disadvantage gap is also reflected in the success of our disadvantaged pupils, with 73% meeting the combined standard across reading, writing, and maths. Highlights include:
· Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School – 88%
· Orchard Head Junior, Infant and Nursery School – 80%

Phonics
Our Year 1 pupils also excelled in phonics, with 92% passing the screening check. Six of our seven schools achieved pass rates of 90% or higher, reinforcing the strength of early reading provision within our Trust.
