Our fantastic Year 3 children competed at a Mini-Olympics at The King’s School on Thursday 4th July. All children gave their absolute best and we had some 1st place finishes. But most importantly they showed wonderful sportsmanship, cheering their team and everybody else’s! A huge thank you to the parents and family members who also came along to support us.

Primary School Cook-Off Challenge
This term, pupils across our primary schools put their culinary skills to the test in a fun, hands-on cooking competition with three competitive rounds. Round 1: Design a £10 menu Round 1 kicked off with a challenge to design a menu that could be made with a budget of £10. Pupils had to consider how their menu could be cost-effective yet flavoursome. Round 2: Ordering Food Next, pupils met with office managers to place their food orders. James Parkinson Wins Silver Award in National Teaching Awards
We’re proud to announce that James Parkinson, Headteacher at De Lacy Primary School, is a Silver Winner for Headteacher of the Year in a Primary School in this year’s Pearson National Teaching Awards.
